New Waste Composting Facility
This civil engineering project, carried out by UK construction group GF Tomlinson & Sons, provided a new 1600sqm composting facility, together with 6m high processing tunnels. The facility, located in Derby, will process deposits of compost, garden and animal waste at a high temperature, providing a quick, effective and environmentally sound disposal solution.
The project also includes site clearance of extensive rough woodland for the new access roads, installation of office and additional facilities, electricity, drainage and a high M&E installation within the composting facility.
