This new build scheme comprised the construction of a Day Centre to provide residential accommodation and community facilities for the elderly community in Crich, Derbyshire.
The project incorporated provisions for health visitations, hairdressing and community activities.
The scheme incorporated green building materials and principles including high levels of insulation, a low energy system and sedum grass roof.
Three special needs bungalows were specially designed and constructed to accommodate local elderly residents.
This project was a joint venture between the Glebe Field Trust and Longhurst HA.
