Bingo Hall

The Kitts Green Bingo hall construction in Birmingham began with the demolition of a 3-storey office block and the construction of a new façade to the existing 1936 machine tool factory ready for the demolition of the rear of the building. Alongside this both the gate house and gas booster station were demolished.

A new steel framed Bingo Hall was then erected with forticrete polished block being used on the lower part of the walls and cladding above. External glass block towers were erected on 2 corners of the building. In addition landscaping and car parking works were carried out plus a major new road junction providing safe access to the leisure facility.

Due to its location (flight path to Birmingham Airport), our contract personnel also had to liaise with the airport regarding the height restrictions of the plant used on site and also to discuss noise levels for the new building – not so much the noise getting out, but the noise getting in!
