In support of Children in Need several events were held at GF Tomlinson on Friday 18th November with the Regional Director, Peter Hood joining a number of staff who annually humiliate themselves in the name of charity.
The events were held throughout the day including ‘chuck-a-sponge’ in the car parking area. This went swimmingly with members of staff throwing a wet sponge at each other. Members of staff also paid to come to the office in fancy dress, St Trinians style.
Each member of staff brought some food to form a sumptuous buffet spread to rival any school dinners and indulged themselves to excess. Much amusement was had by all and the good old ‘Guess the number of sweets in the jar’ competition was won by Tim Fairburn, Design Manager.
A generous £1100 was raised, contributing to the Partnership Children in Need 2005 Appeal.
