TOMLINSON CONSTRUCTION GROUP REWARDED FOR WATERAID CHARITY DAYS

Tomlinsons have been presented with an award from Wateraid for raising the most amount of sponsorship money for the Raft Race held at Carsington Reservoir in 2006. David Pattinson, Director & General Manager of G F Tomlinson Civil Engineering attended the recent evening reception where the construction group was awarded a case of champagne.

Tomlinsons have taken part in this charity event for the past two years, and two years running have raised the most amount of money, with the first year taking the winning trophy on the day.

More recently Tomlinson took part in the Severn Trent/Wateraid Golf Day at Branston Golf Club and walked away with the top prize again. Well done to Andy Sewards and Will Nicholson, who formed the team with Richard Petit from JMP Consultants and Steven Herriot from Marley Eternit.

Wateraid works alongside Severn Trent Water and is an international charity. Their mission is to overcome poverty by enabling the world’s poorest people to gain access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene education.
