Our Health and Safety Management System is accredited to ISO45001:2018 and forms part of the company’s UKAS accredited Integrated Management System.
Safety Representatives
All our sites have Safety Representatives whose key role is to notify potential hazards in the workplace.
They also participate in the consultation and communication process with the management on Health & Safety matters
Our workforce undertakes regular Health and Safety Training. We monitor the Health and Safety Plan to ensure our staff have the skills to fulfil their tasks with zero risk.
We employ CFIOSH qualified Health, Safety and Environmental Advisors who organise all Training for the Company which includes trade specific competency training.
Safety Committees
Consultation of Health, Safety and Welfare Issues takes place on a formal basis every 6-8 weeks. All aspects of Health & Safety are addressed so we can continually provide a Safe Working Environment for all our employees and our supply chain.
Improving Accident Prevention
The Company implements performance reviews on several levels throughout the organisation in order to monitor, review and continually improve the high standards we already achieve on Health and Safety. These take the form of:-
- Accident Investigation;
- Site Inspections;
- Regular Site Meetings;
- Monthly Director Meetings;
- Annual Review Meetings.
All accidents are recorded and are analysed by the Group Health and Safety Officer to determine trends and implement preventative measures.
