Regeneration of communities is always the key focus of our Tomlinson Housing division. As part of the “Birmingham Construction Partnership”, we are successfully delivering the Decent Homes Programme for Birmingham City Council on the UK’s largest housing stock (70,000 dwellings).

The scheme involves work on council and domestic properties to improve resident’s standard of living and typically includes:

  • Kitchen and Bathroom Replacement
  • Central Heating Installation
  • UPVC Window Replacement
  • “Secure by Design” External Door Installation
  • Plastic Fascia and Downpipe Installation
  • Electrical Rewiring
  • Digital Aerial Installation

Tomlinson HomesOur comprehensive Customer Liaison team ensure this is achieved through one to one meetings with all tenants in their homes and through attending neighbourhood meetings in order to reassure and support them on key issues such as:

  • Feeling safe and secure whilst work is being undertaken
  • Minimising the level of disruption
  • Getting back to normality as quickly as possible
